Angloverse is an early-stage edtech startup offering personalised online IELTS and PTE classes to students pursuing a career abroad or professionals looking for migrating to foreign countries. We enable students to achieve higher bands through lower student-tutor ratios, casual organisational culture, and by providing a fun and enjoyable learning experience.
We are a small, but growing team based out of Kochi and scaling to other cities in India. We are looking for ambitious and driven Student Counsellors to join and lead our expansion efforts. This is primarily a Sales/Business Development role with a Remote work schedule.
What will you be doing:
- Calling inbound and outbound leads and selling our courses to prospective students.
- Responding to leads and students through WhatsApp and other social media channels
- Documenting and reporting lead information on CRMs
- Conduct smooth onboarding of students and clarify their queries and concerns regarding our classes
- Liaising with teachers to schedule classes and ensuring students are well taken care of
What are we looking for:
- Strong communication skills - you love talking to people and can build a good rapport with anyone
- Problem-Solving skills - you are solution oriented with a “can-do” attitude
- Good command of English & Hindi (additional languages are a plus!)
- Tech savvy - open to learning and using Excel, CRMs, Service desk softwares, and collaboration tools like Slack
- Previous Experience in Sales, Customer Service, or any client-facing role (is a plus)
- Prior knowledge or experience in language tests, study abroad, and the education industry (is a plus)
