Mission:

The main mission for an PMAM (Project Manager After Market) is to contribute to product uptime, dealer readiness and customer satisfaction by securing the maintainability and aftermarket tools and services in product and maintenance projects, as well as for quality issue solving.
Furthermore, the PMAM is accountable for delegating aftermarket related QDCF(Quality, Delivery Time Plan, Costs, AM Features) fulfillment at each project milestones.

Responsibilities:
The overall responsibilities of the PMAM are:
Manage projects for aftermarket technology

Lead the AMT team plus agreed resources from logistics from the beginning to end in order to secure targets and deliverables.

Follow up and report on QDCF status (Quality, Delivery Time Plan, Costs, AM Features) and act/coordinate to close potential gaps.
Drive, own and follow up the AMT budget.

To develop and monitor all relevant aftermarket related time plans, together with Sales/AM Commercial teams as well as with AMT responsible members.

Define and drive that aftermarket deliverables and needs are integrated in all plans.

Drive the creation of AMT industrial and “maintainability” targets (for example: Remanufacturing, Logistics and Purchasing).

Coordinate the breakdown of aftermarket commercial, industrial and maintainability pre-requisites to requirements (Requirement owner).

Define and drive development and delivery of AM solutions (diagnostic, spare parts assortments and catalogue, repair and service information, driver handbook, body builder instructions, service planning, special tools, etc).

Drive the fulfillment of Maintainability requirements.

Drive agreed material management deliverables.

Drive agreed deliverables for Sales Commercial Aftermarket teams: preparation of dealer training, driver information, service contacts and quotation tools, etc.

Coordinate inquiries from external companies.

Represent the Aftermarket in the management team.

Authorities:
The PMAM has the following authorities:
Make all decisions needed, within delegated QDCF frames, established in cooperation with project CPM (chief project manager), PMT (project management team) and the Aftermarket Reference Group, to reach the project goals.


Competence:

Be passionate about building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with project team members and management teams.

Relevant project manager experience - Senior Project Manager experience and PMP certification not mandatory but a merit.

Experience working within Automotive industry (with engineering and/or sales teams).

Be able to communicate effectively among the cross functional team both in English and Japanese.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor Science in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent engineering background

Experienced working within Automotive industry (with engineering and / or sales team)
