Join us as an Investor Ongoing Monitoring Supervisor
Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an Investor Ongoing Monitoring Supervisor to join our Transfer Agency team. In this role you will be responsible for due diligence checks on all shareholder accounts within the department based on your solid experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Know you Client (KYC) role within a Client On-Boarding team. The ideal candidate will have AML experience, has good software systems skills, is a capable team player and is able to manage a demanding workload. The role will require a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Some of your key responsibilities include:
  • Perform AML/KYC due diligence on a range of institutional client’s types with different legal structures, in all jurisdictions, to support businesses across various product groups including Real Estate Funds and Equities
  • Liaise internally with Investor Relationship Managers and escalate sources of AML risk to AML Manager and the Compliance Manager when required
  • Review publicly available sources for information pertaining to client due diligence (e.g. Stock Exchange)
  • Assist in drafting and documenting procedures, policies and processes as necessary
  • Establish solid contacts with all areas and all levels at clients’ organizations as well as inter departmental
  • Responsible for reviewing AML / KYC files for client due diligence which includes a range of clients types and risk types.
  • Preparation of Weekly / Monthly Client reports for high profile clients in a timely manner
  • Acts as a first line of escalation in cases of AML risk bringing it to the attention of the Manager and Compliance when required
  • Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task
Desired Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in Transfer Agency
  • Knowledge of AML/KYC legal requirements aligned to current regulations
  • Ability to liaise across departments/functions when needed to handle specific client requests
  • Knowledge or prior experience of Multifonds TA is considered preferable
  • Good knowledge of standard Office applications. (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
