Key Responsibilities
- Familiarize with electrical systems, inverters, batteries,
- Work on a driving simulator, improvement of a vehicle dynamics simulation,
- Independent implementation on test simulators in consultation with core competence groups,
- Vehicle system and simulation software (SW), (dSpace control desk, HiL simulators)
- SW simulators / HW simulators / test bench simulators (assisted by suitable measurement technology),
- In-Depth usage of model-based SW development (matlab simulink),
- Assist state of the art conception of electric vehicle systems incl. safety measures using common vehicle protocols, norms and standards (CAN, Lin, J1939, ISO26262),
- Modification and adaption of test benches,
- Design and tuning of control strategy loops (Speed control, torque control),
- SW Validation and data analysis.
Experience Needed/ Skills and Competencies
- At least 5 semesters of relevant technical courses, e.g. electrical engineering, IT, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, microelectronics, industrial engineering, energy technology,
- Basics in programming, simulation or vehicle dynamics,
- Advantage: First experiences with HV/ power electronics,
- Comfortable usage of English, on a daily basis,
- Organized, independent and structured way of working,
- Strong comprehension skills,
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills,
- Interest and high motivation to learn new things.
